Since early this year I have been lucky enough to have been practicing out of a beautiful space in Northcote and sharing the space with a range of practitioners in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
It was just over a year ago that I wandered past the building looking in and having a fleeting thought that it would be wonderful if I had an office space to coach out of one day.
On a whim I contacted Julian McNally, the principal counselling psychologist at ACT of Living to meet up for a coffee. At the time I had a couple of clients and wasn’t sure if renting a space would be something I could ever do. I definitely didn’t think it was possible anytime soon, and yet here I am today sharing a beautiful space with 10 other practitioners.
I feel so grateful that I am in a position to offer my clients a space where practitioners focus on mindfulness, compassion, acceptance and love. A space where the values are aligned with those in my business and where clients can come on a weekly basis and feel safe and comfortable. Here is a snippet from the ACT website:
